Happy National Pie Day
Today we celebrate National Pie Day. My favorite has always been Chocolate Pudding Pie with Graham Cracker Crust. Ever since childhood, I loved making chocolate pudding. Not instant pudding, but the Jello Cook and Serve pudding. Infact, back in the 60s the tv show “Gomer Pyle” (starring Jim Nabors) used to be sponsored by Jello Pudding. Well, if you wrote into the show, they would send you a box. I would receive the pudding several times a year. Years later, I met Jim Nabors when I was mixing music at the Point After nightclub in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii. No, I didnt bring up the free pudding. Anyway, Happy National Pie Day!
