Fairfield: Malo featuring Richard Bean Special Guests Los Cochinos

Malo is an American musical group formed in the early 1970’s that was known for its blend of Latino, Jazz, Rock, and blues sound and featured many of the Bay Area’s finest musicians including Jorge Santana, brother of Carlos Santana and Arcelio Garcia.
Richard Bean, who wrote the Top 20 Billboard hit, “Suavecito,” is continuing the legacy of the band, which produced 3 top 200 singles in the 70’s. It was Gloria Estafan herself that credits Malo’s sound as the inspiration for her groundsbreaking MIAMI SOUND MACHINE.
Los Cochinos is an established Latin rock and Soul band, said by many to have been “passed the torch” from Carlos Santana, as one of the few Latin Rock and Soul bands that continue to create and perform original music.
