This is the 100th anniversary of the classic movie THIEF OF BAGDAD, which swept the country with amazing storytelling and spellbinding stunts.
Based on the 1001 Arabian Nights, the prince goes on a daring quest to protect a princess and save the land from an evil villain.
Flying carpets, cloaks of invisibility, and other fantastical special effects make this one of the finest films of the silent era. The GFFO performs the original 1924 score, composed by Mortimer Wilson, with the film.
