October 5, 2024 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
October 6, 2024 – 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Lambtown Festival has grown to become California’s premier sheep and wool event, attracting thousands of visitors annually. Our festival started in 1985, and we have been dedicated to celebrating and educating about sheep and wool ever since.
- Admission: $15 per day for adults, or $20 for a weekend pass. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is free.
- Who: We are open to everyone – you do not have to be a shepherd, chef, or artisan to find Lambtown Festival enjoyable! People from all walks of life are encouraged to explore the bounty that sheep provide for us all.
- Why: As a versatile yet biodegradable fiber, wool is finding new converts in the burgeoning slow fashion and zero waste movements. In the kitchen, lamb is seeing a resurgence as a flavor forward protein. On the range, sheep help mitigate fire danger while improving pasture biodiversity. Lambtown Festival is a celebration of all of these things and much, much, more!
