The actor who played Nicholas on the late 1970’s TV series Eight Is Enough passed away over the weekend. Anyone who grew up watching the programs of this era remember the impact that “Nicholas” had on the viewing public. Like many child actors of his time, many found it difficult to transition from child star to that of a normal life; since adult roles were not awaiting most of them in their second act.
I recall the same sense of sadness when Dana Plato died after many personal struggles. Hope they both find peace.
