Light The Night Walk

September 27th
Downtown Napa

On September 27th, in Downtown Napa, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)  will hold its annual Light The Night Walk.  The Light The Night Walk is an annual fundraising event that supports LLS’s lifesaving cancer research, advocacy, and free support services for patients and caregivers. The Light The Night Walk  is an inspiring evening to celebrate, remember and bring help and hope to people battling cancer.
Teams comprised of family and friends, co-workers and supporters will carry illuminated lanterns through downtown Napa to light the evening the sky and show our support of the Napa Valley community. This year, Vallejo resident, 10-year old Monika Romo is the Honored Hero of the walk.  Monika was diagnosed with  acute lymphoblastic lymphoma (ALL) in early 2013, and will remain in treatment until later this year.  We invite you to join us in honoring Monika and so many others that have battled blood cancer by registering for the Light The Night Walk here, or by calling to find out about sponsorship opportunities.
The Walk begins at Veterans Memorial Park at 5:00 pm to celebrate our fundraising success with a celebration of music, entertainment and camaraderie while demonstrating our support in the fight against cancer.  The 1.5 mile walk will begin at 7:00 pm.  Each person who raises just $100 for their team will receive dinner the night of the walk, a participant t-shirt, and an illuminated lantern:  red for supporters, white for survivors, and gold for those walking in memory of someone.  Please watch this video to see more about the walk:
