Solano County Library’s annual summer reading program is different this year.  Titled “Read for the Win,” this year’s program is a challenge, in which everyone from children to adults can read and win prizes.
Solano County Mosquito Abatement District (SCMAD) and Solano County Department of Health and Social Services officials confirmed that one American Crow in the City of Fairfield tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV) in mid-April.

Summer Fun Means a City Coach Youth Pass   For youths in Vacaville, summer fun is just a Youth Pass away. The City Coach Youth Pass will be available on June 1, and will sell for only $15 to riders who are 6 to 18 years old.
The Congressional App Challenge is a competition aimed at encouraging U.S. high school students to learn how to code by creating their own applications.
